ADHD Assessments

Step1

Get in contact with a member of our friendly team via phone or email to see if our service is right for you. You can then book in your appointment for an assessment. There's currently no waitlist for adults.

Step 2

Attend the scheduled 50-minute online assessment session. During this assessment, the clinical psychologist will examine the specific criteria outlined in the DSM-5 to make an ADHD diagnosis.

Step 3

You and one to two individuals who know you well will be requested to complete a questionnaire about your traits.

Step 4

The clinical psychologist will evaluate the information collected to determine the likelihood of ADHD. If ADHD is deemed unlikely, it is typically recommended that you discontinue the assessment process. In such cases, you will be charged $500, and you will receive a brief report summarizing the results.

Step 5

If ADHD is deemed likely, you have the option to either conclude the assessment and receive a report indicating its likelihood, or proceed with the comprehensive report and diagnosis. Continuing with the full assessment entails a second session, priced at $300, bringing the total assessment cost to $800. During this additional 50-minute session, which is typically with a Social Worker, you will asked about your school history, occupational background, family history, as well as any relevant medical or mental health conditions.

Using all of this information, the clinical psychologist will then write a detailed, 20-30 page report, outlining the diagnosis, your personal history, and proposing treatment options and management strategies tailored to address your specific traits.

Following this, you will be offered a 15-minute phone consultation with the clinical psychologist within the next two weeks to discuss the report further, address any queries, and chart out the next steps.
